Carl Wayne Liddeke, age 64 of Alexandria died Thursday March 17, 2005 at Avera McKennan Rehab. Services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, March 21 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Sunday, March 20 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7 PM. Carl Wayne Liddeke was born December 13, 1940 in Mitchell to Edward and Marie (Marks) Liddeke. He attended Mitchell schools and started his career at Homestake Mine in Lead, SD where he was a certified blaster. He was married to Donna Badger in 1959. After moving to Virginia, he worked for Buckingham Slate. Carl started working with the US Dept. of Labor in 1978, and rejoined in 1984. He served in the Pittsburgh office for 11 years. He applied and was accepted for a supervisory position in Manchester, New Hampshire field office where he worked until his retirement. Survivors include his wife of fourteen years, Aleta Liddeke; his children: Denise Shay, Carol Hensley, Susan Carroll, Susan Troehler, Carole Barth and Robert Barth; ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, George and Lloyd, a sister, Susie, and a step-son Ron David Barth.
