Beverly Jean Sudbeck, 54, of Mitchell, died Tuesday June 24, 2008, at home under hospice care. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mitchell, with Rev. Brad Peterson officiating, burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday at Will Funeral Chapel with a 7:30 PM prayer service. Beverly Jean Frank, daughter of Alfred and Frieda (Stahlecker) Frank, was born January 9, 1954 in Burke, SD. She grew up in Burke and graduated from Burke High School in 1972. She was united in marriage with Tom Sudbeck on September 6, 1975 in Burke, SD. The couple lived in Lead, SD for a short time before making their home in Mitchell. She was employed at Coca Cola for five years and then the Daily Republic for 23 years as an accounting clerk before her health forced her to retire. Beverly was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Tom Sudbeck, Mitchell; two sons, Shawn Sudbeck, Mitchell; T.J. Sudbeck, Minneapolis, MN; four brothers, Don (Joyce) Frank, Gregory, SD; Dean Frank, Burke, SD; Bill (Delores) Frank, Black Hawk, SD; Larry (Jane) Frank, Burke, SD; four sisters, Karen (Ray) Heiser, Mitchell, SD, JoAnn (Emory) Bailey, Odessa, MO; Linda (Randy) DeWolf, Burke, SD; Diane (Mike) Dacy, Gregory, SD; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Albert and James in infancy. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
