Beverly Bev Kuhlman age 78, of Mitchell died July 4, 2010 in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Church. Burial will be in South Spencer Cemetery, Spencer, SD. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Bev Grove, daughter of Carl and Maude (Jahns) Grove, was born December 1, 1931 in Fulton, SD. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1949.

Bev was united in marriage with Robert (Bob) Kuhlman on October 13, 1951 in Spencer, SD. The couple lived in Brookings and Rapid City before making their home in Mitchell in 1957. Bev was a homemaker and did the book-keeping for their business, Middle Border Estates. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking for and entertaining family and friends. Bev loved to write letters and send care packages to her grandchildren. She had a great fondness for traveling and spending time at the cabin in Rochford.

Bev has been involved with and was a member of P.E.O. Chapter AP, Antique Club, 20th Century Club, a very special Bridge Club and was a founding member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Rae Lynne (Dean) Simon, Sioux Falls; a son, Todd (Nancy) Kuhlman, Nampa, ID; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Nicole, Carli, Ben, Seth, Adam and Andy; two great grandchildren, James Robert and Emma Rae; a sister, Shirley (Roy) Rhodes, Grants Pass, OR; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Cora Kuhlman, Sioux Falls, SD; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; two sisters, Inez and Norma (Penny); two brothers, Allen and Rodney (Bud); her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elmer and Neva Kuhlman.
