Belva Richards, age 58, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Mitchell, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, March 8 at First Lutheran Church of Mitchell, with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 8 PM Wednesday at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Belva was born on October 6, 1948, at Parkston, SD to Paul and Shirley (Thoming) Andachter. She graduated from Delmont High School in 1966 and from Stewarts School of Hairstyling in 1968. She married Dennis Richards on August 11, 1968 at Delmont, SD. They made their home in Mitchell and Belva worked as a hair stylist for 28 years. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1996 and worked for BankFirst for eight years. She worked at First Financial from 2004 until the time of her death. Belva was a member of First Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Her grandchildren were her greatest enjoyment. She is survived by a daughter, Amy McEntee and husband, Brian of Lennox, SD; her brother Dennis Andachter and wife, Karen, of Sioux Falls, her mother, Shirley Andachter, of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren: Allison, Brianna and Collin, and two nephews, Mike and Tim. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Andachter.
