Barbara Jo Culver age 52 of Mitchell, SD died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her residence under hospice care. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6: 00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday July 8, 2015 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Barbara Jo Culver, daughter of John "Jack" Morgan and Sharon Mathis, was born August 15, 1962 in Mitchell, SD. She grew up in the Mitchell and Alexandria area and attended school there. Barb graduated from Hanson High School in 1980. She was married to Monte Culver in 1981. The couple made their home in Alexandria, SD. Barb later moved to Mitchell. While in Mitchell she was employed at Woelfel Jewelry Store, The Tumbleweed, Jacks Campers, Harve's Sport Shop, and Tire Associates. Barb then became the caregiver for her mother Sharon. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She cherished her faith and family time. Survivors include her two children, Brent (Melissa) Culver, Mitchell, SD, Ben (Tanya) Culver, Mitchell, SD; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Craig (Peggy) Podhradsky, Huron, SD and John Morgan, Alexandria, SD; two sisters, Cyndi Baas, Sioux Falls, SD and Lisa (Brian) Zirpel, Rio Rancho, NM; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Morgan.
