Audrey Hirsch 60 of Mitchell died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD. Visitation with a prayer service will be 7 PM Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Pukwana Free Lutheran Church, Pukwana, SD. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Will Funeral Chapel, Mitchell, SD. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell, SD following the funeral service. Audrey was born September 29, 1952 to Walter Sr. & Esther (Giedd) Stock in Wagner, SD. She Attended rural school and graduated from Wagner High School. She married Maynard Hirsch on December 19, 1970, they had five children. She worked as a medical aid and house keeper in nursing homes in Mitchell and Chamberlain. She had a special talent for working around older people. Audrey had a very strong faith; she read and studied her Bible daily. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, mowing the lawn and spending time with her family, friends and her puppies. She was well known for her clean house and her special Kuchen recipe. She was a very caring person who always thought of the welfare of others rather than herself, even till the very end. Grateful to have shared in her life are her husband Maynard, Mitchell, SD; her five children, Michael Hirsch, Mitchell, SD, Melissa (Cory) Tschetter, Bridgewater, SD, Alan (Jennifer) Hirsch, Watertown, SD, Shawn (Joni) Hirsch, Mitchell, SD, Philip Hirsch and his fiancé Bobby, Mitchell, SD; 11 grandchildren, Jayden, Jasmine, Landen, Rage, Kenny, Angel, Andrew, Brooke, Evan, Brielle, Rui; her sister Betty and numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers.
