Arvin Kingsbury, age 77, of Letcher, died Monday, November 27th at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ in Letcher. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at the Westlawn Cemetery in Letcher. Arvin was born March 28, 1929 to Glen and Minnie (Godber) Kingsbury in Letcher. He attended country grade school, and graduated from Letcher High School and Huron Business School. He married Donna Goudy on September 28, 1950 at Letcher. He farmed his whole life on the family farm where he was born. He also worked for the ASC Office, part time at Menards and for Brooks Oil. He served on the Butler Township Board. Arvin was devoted to his family and friends and especially his grandchildren and their many activitities they were involved in. He also spent several years umpiring kids baseball games. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Randy Kingsbury (Carmen) of Littleton, CO; Dennis Kingsbury (Barb) of Vermillion and Kevin Kingsbury (Lynette) of Letcher; one sister, Bethel Delvaux, of San Diego, CA; twelve grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kurt, and one grandson, Jim.
