Arthur Pollreisz, 97, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Holy Family Church in Mitchell.  Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Ethan.  Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 6:30 Rosary at Will Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

He was born November 23, 1924 in rural Hutchinson County near Milltown, SD to Albert and Julia (Zeier) Pollreisz.  He married Helen Weber May 7, 1947 in Dimock, SD.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, 7 children; Tom (Arley) Pollreisz, Leonard (Marcella) Pollreisz, Ken (Pam) Pollreisz, JoAnn (Greg) Kappenman, Donna Haas, Pat (Connie) Pollreisz, Bonnie Pollreisz, 16 grandchildren, 18 great grand grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a sister, RoseAnn (Don) Haag, a brother, Jim (Carol) Pollreisz as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, John, his parents, a brother, Leo and an infant brother, Albert.
