Arlyce was born November 30, 1949 to Ervan and Ruth (Johnson) Wishard in Watertown, SD. She attended school in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School. She married Douglas Fiebelkorn and the couple lived in rural Watertown. They moved to Ethan for a short time and then made their home in Mitchell. Arlyce then married Lester Maertins in 1987 and the couple lived in Arkansas and returned to Mitchell in 1996. Arlyce worked in home health care, nursing homes, EMT1 and part time at the sheriff's office in Arkansas.

Her hobbies were spending time with her grandchildren, horseback riding and traveling.

Grateful for sharing her life are her children Chad Fiebelkorn and Shane Fiebelkorn of Mountain Lake, MN  and Angela (Jim Puepke) Harvey of Ethan, SD; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister Connie Zeller of Madison, SD; nieces and nephews

Arlyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester;  granddaughter Mykayla and two brothers Marvin and Dale.
