Ardis Turner age 96, of Mitchell died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Firesteel Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mary Ardis Turner was born August 17, 1918 in Plano Township, Hanson County, SD to Warren and Evalena Ewing. She attended Plano Consolidated School graduating in 1935. On September 12, 1946 she married Laurice Turner at the Methodist parsonage in Mitchell with the Rev. Frank Lochridge officiating. Grateful for sharing her life are several nieces and nephews. Ardis was preceded in death by her husband in 1987; two brothers and her parents.
