Annabelle Marie Schuldt, age 84 of Mitchell, died May 24, 2009 at the Indian Hills Care Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Servicemans Memorial Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Will Funeral Chapel.

Annabelle was born on November 13, 1924 to Thomas and Edith (Lorenz) Jurgensen in Chamberlain. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1942. Annabelle met Robert Edward Schuldt and the couple were married on June 23, 1942. Following Roberts time in the military the couple moved to Mitchell in December of 1947. The couple continued to live here until Roberts death on November 14, 1991. Ann was a big Mitchell Kernel basketball fan and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She continued living in Mitchell until recently moving to a care center in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa to be closer to her daughter.

She is survived by two children: Ronald (Jeanne) Schuldt of Brighton, CO and Janice (Larry) Sills of Sergeant Bluff, IA. 6 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, and two brothers: Thomas Sonny and Robert Jurgensen.
