Allen Wallace Miiller, age 90, of Mt. Vernon, SD died Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Will Funeral Chapel with military rites at Servicemen's Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.

Allen Wallace Miiller, son of George and Kathleen (Hohn) Miiller, was born March 5, 1930 in rural Davison County, SD.

Allen entered the US Army on May 4, 1955 and was honorably discharged on May 28, 1956. He was united in marriage with Pauline (Lee)Tollefson on July 14, 1960 in Minnesota.

Allen was a farmer for many years and served on the township board and was the township accessor for 30 years. He later was employed with the Federal Crop Insurance Corp for 15 years. Allen also worked as a truck driver for several years.

Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter Joyce (Bob) Murphy, Harrisburg, SD; two grandchildren, Barb (Keith) Wolfe, Sioux Falls, SD, Jim (Molly) Murphy, Sioux Falls, SD;  four great grandchildren, Richard Wolfe, Katie Wolfe, Molly Murphy and Emma Buie and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Miiller on July 22, 2008; his parents; three brothers, Laverne, Earl and Marvin.
