Agnes C. Nultemeier, 97, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Mitchell, died August 5, 2004 at Avera Prince of Peace Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Will Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Agnes was born January 27, 1907, at Hoven, SD to Matthew and Mary (Titgen) Goebel. She attended country school and later moved to Aberdeen where she was employed at a laundry. She married Harry Nultemeier November 23, 1932 at Aberdeen. The couple made their home in California where they were employed at a carnival. They returned to Aberdeen and were employed in family businesses, a liquor store and taxi cab company. They later moved to Mitchell in 1949 and opened the K & L Motel and operated the Drive-In theater until 1963. They retired in Mitchell. Agnes was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of the Elks. She enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Merle Ann Barr, Appleton, Minnesota and Rosemary Nultemeier, Sioux Falls; four grandchildren: Kelly (Jay) Coburn, Sioux Falls; Craig (Wanda) Nultemeier, East Grand Forks, ND; Kathy Nultemeier, Sioux Falls and Edward (DeDe) Nultemeier, Portland, OR; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Helen) Goebel, Lebanon, SD and Francis (Marian) Goebel, Aberdeen; sisters, Gertrude Gross, Gettysburg; and Hilda Naughton, Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975, two sons, Kenneth and Loren; three brothers: Tony, Bill and Nick; and two sisters: Leone Moro, and Barbara Kirchgasler
