Adeline Heisinger, age 90, of Mitchell, SD died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at the American Legion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service followed by a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.

Adeline (Mayer) Heisinger, daughter of Peter and Clara (Ebersdorfer) Mayer, was born October 11, 1927.

She was united in marriage with Louis Heisinger on February 14, 1950 in Dimock, SD.

Adeline worked at the Hotel Café and Starlite Lanes in Parkston, SD and as a housekeeper at St. Joseph/Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD.

She enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles.

Adeline was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Altar Society and American Legion Auxillary.

Grateful for having shared her life are her six children, Michael L. (Toy) Heisinger, Mitchell, SD, Jean (Perry) Jones, Carroll, NE, Jerry "Butch" (Jan) Heisinger, Hot Springs, SD, Kathy (Gordon) Johnson, Omaha, NE, Cindy Heisinger, Howard, SD, Jeff (Andrea) Heisinger, Agoura Hills, CA; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed (Arleen) Mayer, Mitchell, SD, Dan (Shirley) Mayer, Mitchell, SD; three sisters, Florence (Fran) Rokusek, Freeman, SD, Sister Janice Mayer, Yankton, SD, Jean (Roger) Shipman, Paola, KS; sister-in-laws, Marlene Mayer, Anaheim, CA, Karen Mayer, Mitchell, SD, Chuckie Mayer, Mitchell, SD; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; her parents; brothers, James, Harvey, Peter, Louis (Lou), William (Bill); sisters, Regina (Bill) VenOsdel, (Gus) Parker, Delores (Al) Hafner, and Sherri (Jim) Novacek.
