Adah Buck, age 90, of Mitchell, died April 11, 2007, at the Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the First Reformed Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Aurora Center Cemetery. Adah Thompson was born on June 28, 1916 at Platte, SD to Elmer and Mary (Campbell) Thompson. She married George Buck on January 27, 1939, at Aurora Center. They lived near Aurora Center until moving to Mitchell in 1983. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Palmer and husband, Gary, of Mitchell; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a brother, John Thompson, of Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, one great grandchild, three sisters, and one brother.
