Ada M. Miller age 96, of Mitchell, SD died Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at First Lutheran Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at First Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Ada M. Miller, daughter of Jay and Lucille (Nosbusch) Miller, was born October 16, 1927 in Watertown, SD. She grew up in rural Watertown and attended Prosper Center Country School for eight years. Ada moved with her family to Mitchell, SD where she attended Mitchell High School. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1947. After her schooling, Ada was employed at Montgomery Wards.

Ada became a Certified Dental Assistant and was employed with Dr. LeRoy Krause. She retired in the late 1980's. In her retirement, Ada was employed at the Doll Museum, Discovery Museum and volunteered at First Lutheran Church.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church where she participated in the church choir and church women's circle. Ada served as the Sunday School Superintendent at First Lutheran Church for several years. She enjoyed bowling, barn dances, bible studies and movies as a young adult.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Gladys Bassett, Mitchell, SD; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews and many special friends

Ada was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; 10 half brothers; and 4 half sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church in Mitchell, SD.
