Jerry Gene Sumner was born in Watertown, SD on September 7, 1948 he passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, January 13, 2023 at Firesteel Heath Care in Mitchell, SD. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Will Funeral Chapel. Cake and Coffee to be served after the service.

The family wishes to thank Kathy Tupper an Kaye Miller. They not only took care of him from day to day, they showed him how to love people, and so much more. We are happy he has passed on to heaven, an out of that body. We will miss him terribly, his big smiles, and his yelling at us kids to behave. With us he was a man of little words, but a man with a big heart.
